Somerset Dog father offers a 1-hour group secure field walk. This is a great walk for those dogs that are possibly reactive or poor at recall, but enjoy group walk socialisation. This service is designed to give your dog the whole experience of group social activity whilst removing any worries and giving confidence to the owner that your best friend is getting off lead exercise in a controlled space. This also benefits those pets that aren’t the best at recall as during this walk we can actively work on training and improving this essential skill with fun and rewards.
As with all of our services, before we start, we will come to your home for a free consultation to meet you and your pets to discuss their individual needs and to get everything in place.
On the day we will call and collect your pet and transport them to a predesignated walk that Somerset Dog Father uses for their walk and exercise. During the walk we will take plenty of pictures and video content to share with you either via message or email in a post walk report. Before the journey home we will wash any mud or perfume’s that your beloved has found to roll in along their adventures to the best of our ability walk side, so they are as clean as possible before they return home for a post walk treat and a well-deserved snooze!
Somerset Dog Father uses GPS Trackers for all our walks, both off lead and on lead. These group walks involve collecting your pet in our secure vehicle and taking them to one of our pre-walked secure field locations for a group walk and then taking them home. All our group walk pets are carefully placed into a group walk pack with other friendly dogs that we feel complement each other to get all the benefits of socialisation, being around other dogs for enrichment and having doggy friends as well as the great adventures that we go on.
